I competed at the very bumpy round 3 of the southern XC in the New Forest (UK) on Sunday. I managed a very “pleased with” 16th Place in the open event.
This was the first time this year i could have done with a full susser bike as my back side felt like it had been hit by a hammer 100 times by the end of the race.!
No illicit banners this time like at the Gorrick and I also managed to hold onto my pump by strapping it to my bike.
Why am i doing it – its all for the Megavalanche in Alpe D’Huez in July.
